Tow Truck Driver

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. *CDL A REQUIRED* The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to customer service and have the ability to operate various types of tow trucks, including flatbed models. This role requires a blend of mechanical knowledge and driving expertise to ensure safe and efficient towing operations. Duties Safely operate tow trucks to transport vehicles from one location to another, ensuring minimal damage during the towing process. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting stranded motorists and addressing their needs with professionalism and empathy. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on towing equipment to ensure safety and reliability. Utilize automotive diagnostics skills to assess vehicle conditions and determine appropriate towing methods. Manage conflicts effectively, ensuring a positive experience for customers during stressful situations. Maintain accurate records of services rendered, including details of vehicles towed and locations serviced. Operate forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading vehicles or equipment. Drive manual transmission vehicles as required, demonstrating proficiency in various driving conditions. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred; experience with commercial driving is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs or diagnostics on vehicles. Experience in customer service roles, showcasing excellent communication skills and conflict management abilities. Familiarity with flatbed tow trucks and other towing equipment is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. A strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety protocols in all operations.
