Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Driver and become a vital part of our roadside assistance and vehicle recovery operations! In this energetic role, you’ll be responsible for safely transporting vehicles, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring efficient recovery of stranded or damaged vehicles. Your mechanical expertise and driving skills will help keep our operations running smoothly while delivering prompt, professional assistance to motorists in need. Duties Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and hook-and-chain models, to recover and transport vehicles from accident scenes, breakdowns, or impound lots Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to assess damage, mechanical issues, or safety concerns before towing Load and unload vehicles with precision using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or winches while adhering to safety protocols Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns professionally Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, including vehicle details, locations, and times for reporting purposes Follow all safety regulations and company policies during vehicle recovery operations to ensure personal and team safety Assist with basic automotive diagnostics or mechanical repairs when necessary to facilitate vehicle recovery or minor fixes on-site Experience Proven experience operating tow trucks or commercial driving vehicles with a valid driver’s license suitable for heavy-duty or commercial vehicles Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, including diagnostics and repair techniques related to engines, transmissions (manual transmission experience preferred), brakes, and electrical systems Familiarity with automotive repair tools and equipment such as flatbeds, winches, forklifts, and other lifting devices Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict calmly and professionally in stressful situations Prior experience in conflict management or handling difficult interactions is a plus Knowledge of safety standards related to vehicle recovery operations and roadside assistance procedures Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while maintaining safety standards This role is paid and offers an engaging environment where your driving expertise combined with mechanical skills will make a real difference.
