Tow Truck Driver

Job Summary: Experience is a must, please do not apply if you do not have 2 + years tow truck experience . We are seeking a reliable and experienced Tow Truck Driver to transport forklifts and equipment safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in flatbed transport, including moving heavy machinery such as forklifts. This full-time position offers steady weekday hours, dependable pay, and a supportive team environment. The role involves loading, securing, and transporting equipment while maintaining safety standards and providing professional service to clients and partners. Candidates must demonstrate strong driving skills, safety awareness, and the ability to handle equipment securely during transit. Responsibilities: Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbeds, to transport forklifts and heavy machinery. Load, secure, and unload equipment following proper securement protocols to prevent damage. Conduct pre- and post-inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and operational readiness. Perform minor mechanical repairs and troubleshoot basic vehicle issues as needed. Follow all safety guidelines, traffic laws, and company policies during transportation activities. Maintain accurate documentation of all jobs, including logs of vehicle conditions, recovery details, and customer interactions. Collaborate effectively with dispatchers and customers to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications: Prior experience in flatbed transport of forklifts and heavy equipment. Strong knowledge of vehicle loading procedures and cargo securement protocols. Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial truck driving. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety. Knowledge of basic mechanical repair techniques related to tow trucks. Strong customer service skills with clear communication abilities. Commitment to safety, punctuality, and reliable attendance.
