Job Summary As an In-House Tow Truck Driver, you will handle local pickups of salvage, junk, and commercial vehicles, as well as move inventory on-site. This is a predictable position with standard daytime hours. In addition to steady base pay, we offer a 20% performance commission structure on vehicle acquisitions and component evaluations, allowing motivated drivers to earn total compensation up to $30+/hour. Pay & Commission Structure Base Rate: $20.00 / hour guaranteed. Commission: Drivers earn a 20% commission based on total vehicle purchase valuations and component recovery. Total Earning Potential: Drivers routinely earn $20.00 to $30.00+ total per hour. Key Responsibilities Operate flatbed tow trucks, rollback carriers, or wheel-lift trucks safely and efficiently. Perform local pickups of salvage, junk, and end-of-life vehicles. Evaluate incoming vehicles to verify standard complete components according to company policy. Safely load, winch, secure, and unload vehicles following safety guidelines. Verify title and ownership paperwork, maintaining accurate daily logs. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections. Qualifications & Requirements License: Valid Driver's License required with a clean driving record (Class A CDL is a plus). Experience: Towing, flatbed, or heavy equipment transport experience preferred. Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs, kneel, bend, and secure heavy chains/straps. Requirements: Ability to pass a standard background check and DOT physical.
