Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Driver and become a vital part of roadside assistance and vehicle recovery operations. In this energetic role, you will operate specialized tow trucks to assist stranded motorists, recover vehicles from accident scenes, and ensure safe transportation of vehicles across various locations. Responsibilities Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and vehicle recovery towing units, to transport vehicles in accordance with all safety standards and traffic laws Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs to prepare vehicles for towing or delivery Secure vehicles onto tow trucks using proper cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit Assist with vehicle load & unload procedures, ensuring safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks with manual transmission or automatic systems Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues that may affect towing or recovery operations Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls, providing exceptional customer service while managing conflict management situations professionally Follow established procedures for vehicle recovery towing, including accident scene management and mechanical vehicle repair when necessary Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving or car towing, with a valid driver’s license suitable for operating heavy-duty tow trucks Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, including automotive diagnostics and minor mechanical repairs for truck drivers’ vehicles Familiarity with cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading techniques on flatbed tow trucks Experience in automotive repair or vehicle mechanics is highly desirable Strong driving skills with a clean driving record and experience handling manual transmissions preferred Ability to troubleshoot basic vehicle issues quickly and accurately in high-pressure situations Excellent customer service skills combined with conflict management abilities to handle challenging roadside interactions professionally Pay: $100.00 - $1,500.00 per week Work Location: In person
