Tow Truck Driver

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Driver. In this energetic role, you will operate specialized tow trucks to assist stranded motorists, recover vehicles from breakdowns, and ensure safe transportation of vehicles across various terrains. Duties Operate Flatbed tow trucks to recover and transport vehicles safely Perform vehicle diagnostics and minor mechanical repairs to facilitate towing or vehicle recovery Secure vehicles onto tow trucks following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit Load and unload vehicles with precision, ensuring safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks according to safety standards Assist customers courteously, providing clear communication and support Follow all safety procedures related to vehicle mechanics, cargo securement, and driving regulations for commercial trucks and manual transmission vehicles Qualifications Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record, preferably with experience in commercial truck driving Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics, minor mechanical repairs, and automotive repair techniques Familiarity with flatbed towing equipment, vehicle mechanics for truck drivers, and vehicle recovery towing procedures Strong understanding of cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading practices on tow trucks Excellent driving skills with experience operating manual transmission vehicles in various conditions Ability to manage conflict effectively while maintaining professionalism during stressful roadside situations Prior experience in customer service roles is highly desirable to enhance client interactions Join us if you're passionate about driving, mechanical troubleshooting, and helping people get back on the road quickly!
