Tools & Support Equipment Manager

BELT Construction Group is seeking an experienced Tools & Support Equipment Manager to join our Equipment Department in Texarkana, AR or Dallas/ Denton, TX area. This position is responsible for managing company-owned tools, support equipment, warehouse inventory, and purchasing activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction equipment, inventory management, procurement, and leadership. This is an opportunity to take ownership of an important part of our equipment operations and help develop processes that support our continued growth. Key Responsibilities: Manage company-owned tools, pumps, trench protection and shoring systems, equipment attachments, Connex Boxes, and other support equipment. Track equipment location, condition, availability, and utilization. Work closely with Operations to ensure projects have the tools and equipment they need. Oversee purchasing, vendor relationships, and competitive pricing. Manage warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and asset accountability. Identify opportunities to reduce costs through better equipment utilization, purchasing, and inventory control. Coordinate equipment repairs, replacements, and warranty claims. Develop and improve processes for equipment tracking, inventory, and asset management. Lead and develop assigned warehouse, parts, and support personnel. Maintain safe, organized, and efficient operations. Qualifications Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction equipment, tool management, procurement, warehouse operations, or a related field. Previous leadership or supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of construction tools and support equipment. Experience with purchasing, inventory management, and vendor relationships. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience with computerized inventory or equipment management systems. High school diploma or GED required. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Preferred Experience: Heavy civil or underground utility construction. Trench protection, shoring systems, and dewatering equipment. Warehouse or parts department management. Supplier negotiations, equipment standardization, and cost management.
