Tooling Technician

Tooling Technician Indianapolis, IN, United States | req33137 Day shift, 07:00am – 03:30pm, Monday - Friday What you will enjoy doing* Develop, implement, and maintain a consumable tooling inventory system across multiple departments Manage tooling receiving, incoming inspections, storage, organization, and inventory records Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely tooling procurement and delivery Read and interpret technical drawings to support tooling requirements and operations Generate and process purchase requests for tooling and related supplies across departments Administer tooling disposal activities, including documentation, recordkeeping, and customer communications Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast tooling demand based on customer schedules and production needs Promote and maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous operational support What makes you great High School Diploma required 2+ years experience with support processes/inventory control. Proven relevant experience may be considered Proficiency with MS Office & Oracle/related database software You will have the ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform manual tasks for extended periods Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements while processing, masking, demasking, loading, unloading, inspecting, and packaging customer hardware and materials Ability to safely lift and carry up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation You will work in a production environment that may include exposure to noise, dust, vibration, heat, cold, and industrial chemicals while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) Ability to visually inspect parts, materials, and process conditions to identify defects, damage, contamination, or other nonconforming conditions Ability to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, respirators, protective clothing, and other PPE as required by the task or work area Why you will love working with us Linde Advanced Material Technologies, formerly Praxair Surface Technologies, is a company that revolutionizes industries through innovative materials and surface coatings.
