Tool Room Attendant

We perform installation, rigging, millwrighting, and maintenance for manufacturing and industrial markets across the Southeast. Job Summary Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Tool Room Attendant in Raleigh, NC. The Tool Room Attendant will perform daily tool room duties. Work usually requires the ability to work without close supervision. #sic Essential Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for locating, receiving, stocking and issuing tools. Maintains the tool room in a neat and orderly manner. Delivers packages to recipients daily. Assists in cleaning of the shop or elsewhere as needed. Operates forklift(s) or drives company vehicles as needed to complete daily tasks. Assists co-workers with tooling needs and answers questions regarding inventory. Checks all tools for any defects before the items are sent to the job site. Returns tooling to assigned tool room locations once items are returned to the shop. Maintains the lawn around the office. Assists tool room supervisor with day to day duties of the tool room. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Clean driving record 2-3 years of experience in the industrial field working with various types of tools #sic Work Environment Conditions include working in office, with occasional entry into shop, busy traffic areas, and warehouses. Occasional exposure to dirt, dust, grease, oil, vibrations, and adverse weather conditions. Must be able to safely access all areas of property. Must be able to effectively use any required PPE equipment. Potential Jobsite Visits.
