Tool Room Runner The Tool Room Runner supports aircraft maintenance operations by assisting in the control, movement, and accountability of tools and equipment within the facility. This role works closely with Tool Room Attendants and maintenance personnel to ensure tools are available, calibrated, and compliant with aviation industry standards. Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is a detail‑oriented self‑starter who can manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining full compliance with safety, calibration, and regulatory requirements. This role demands strong initiative, reliable performance, and consistent adherence to established policies to keep maintenance teams equipped, efficient, and inspection‑ready at all times. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Tool Room Attendant with issuing and receiving tools, equipment, and calibrated instruments used in aircraft maintenance. Perform routine inventory counts to maintain accurate tool and equipment records in accordance with policy and procedure requirements. Conduct toolbox audits to ensure all tooling meets regulatory compliance, calibration status, and company standards. Transport, deliver, and retrieve tools and equipment between multiple tool rooms and maintenance areas to support ongoing aircraft work. Help maintain proper storage, organization, and cleanliness of the Tool Room, following FAA, contractual obligation, and company-specific procedures. Report missing, damaged, or out-of-calibration tools immediately to prevent maintenance delays or safety risks. Support traceability and documentation processes essential to operations.
