Tool Crib Technician

Over the years it has expanded to include over 150 employees working in a 100,000 sq. ft. facility. Job description This position works with other Tool Crib Technicians to provide tooling and fixturing to our two CNC milling departments: · Manage control, issue, and presetting of cutting tools for CNC milling machines. · Maintain complete and accurate records of tool information on setup sheets. · Assemble tools and tool holders. · Issue cutting tools and required fixturing to CNC machinists. · Provide tool offset info for production, as applicable. · Perform tooling teardowns, including setup sheet updates. Qualifications · Strong communication skills. · Good organization skills. · Good math and computer skills. · Good attention to detail. · Basic understanding of cutting tools. · Willing to increase pay range for candidates with tool grinding experience. Physical Demands Employees doing this job frequently stand, walk, and sit. They occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch. Manual dexterity is important because you will need to be able to handle sharp objects safely. People working in this job frequently lift 10 to 20 pounds throughout the day, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. This job requires close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
