Tool Crib/Shipping & Receiving

Job Summary The Tool Crib Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient management and distribution of tools and equipment within the warehouse environment. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, assisting with order fulfillment, and supporting shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and experience in warehouse operations. Responsibilities Manage the inventory of tools and equipment within the tool crib, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly stored. Assist in order picking and fulfillment processes to meet production demands. Utilize MRP systems to track inventory levels and assist with reordering supplies as necessary. Operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks to transport tools and materials safely. Support shipping and receiving functions by preparing packages for dispatch and verifying incoming shipments. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the tool crib area to promote a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely availability of tools for production needs. . Create all necessary paperwork and customs documentation for cross border shipments Must have knowledge of ACE and ACI manifests / PAPS and PARS and know when to use each one Familiarity with the Border Connect software is a plus (training will be provided if not used before) Hire outsource trucks when required for trips to the USA and Mexico and provide all necessary paperwork Review after 90 days. Skills Proficiency in order picking and fulfillment processes within a warehouse setting. Experience with shipping and receiving operations, including package preparation. Knowledge of e-commerce practices related to order management is a plus. Ability to operate reach trucks safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining accurate inventory records. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and support operational needs.
