Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Tool Crib Attendant to manage the inventory and distribution of tools, equipment, and materials within our warehouse environment. In this vital role, you will ensure that tools are properly stored, maintained, and readily available for production and maintenance teams. Your expertise in warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics will help streamline processes, reduce downtime, and support overall operational efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic supply chain environment while maintaining high standards of safety and organization. Duties Maintains inventory on hardware, tools and supplies located in the tool crib and dictates organization of same Pulls and distributes tools and supplies as requested on a "by need" basis Keeps track of type and location of customer supplied tooling Keeps track of tooling checked out of tool crib Pull hardware from stock. Count, package and distribute quantity required to complete job. Notifies Purchasing when supplies run low Plan, assign and direct work coming through the Tool Crib dept NEEDED SKILLS, EDUCATION, OR EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE MS Office (Excel/Word) Ability to read and interpret documents Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form Good verbal and written communication skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred ADDITIONAL NEEDS Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds Must be able to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
