Job Posting Title Tool Crib Attendant Job Description Summary Serving as a key support function to Production, the Tool Crib Attendant builds cutting tool assemblies from provided blueprints, inspects each one on a tool pre-setter to confirm it meets print dimensions and tolerances, and delivers ready-to-run tooling to the machine shop. By providing accurate, reliable tooling on time, this role helps keep the shop running smoothly and supports the high-quality standards our aerospace and defense customers expect.

Attendant role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
Job Responsibilities Build cutting tool assemblies (holders, collets, cutters, inserts, extensions) to the tool prints provided
Set and verify assembly lengths and dimensions to print tolerance using a tool pre-setter
Install and remove tools in heat-shrink holders using a shrink-fit machine
Check dimensions with calipers, micrometers, and indicators
Tear down returned assemblies; clean and inspect components for wear or damage, and return good components to stock
