Tool Coordinator Portland, OR | Shift: Monday-Friday | 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM | Full-Time Contract Opportunity Are you experienced in inventory management, material coordination, or supply chain operations? We're seeking a Tool Coordinator to support a leading aerospace manufacturing team in Portland, OR. In this role, you'll help ensure manufacturing teams have the tools, materials, and supplies they need to keep production running efficiently and on schedule. What You'll Do Coordinate and procure approved tools, materials, and shop supplies needed for manufacturing operations. Monitor inventory levels and usage to ensure resources are available and used cost-effectively. Review product and material requirements to ensure compliance with manufacturing processes and specifications. Utilize inventory management systems to track, receive, and distribute materials. Support manufacturing teams by responding to changing production needs and urgent material requests. Assist with inventory audits and material redistribution. Help identify process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and tools. What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications At least 1 year of experience in material management, inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain support . Experience using inventory management or inventory control systems . Proficiency with Microsoft Office , including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience using Ariba and/or CribMaster . Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives . Knowledge of manufacturing, operations, production, or fabrication environments. Experience using Excel formulas and functions for reporting or data analysis. Physical Requirements Ability to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, and move materials throughout the workday. Comfortable working in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Schedule & Flexibility This position is currently scheduled for Monday through Friday, 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM . Candidates must be willing and able to work alternative shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require. Education & Experience Associate's degree preferred but not required. Equivalent combinations of education, military experience, and related work experience will be considered. Typically, candidates have 1-3+ years of relevant experience in inventory, materials, warehouse, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
