TLP Trucking is looking for an experienced Class A CDL-A driver to join our family-owned trucking company as a Regional Belt Trailer Driver . This position is designed for drivers who want to be home daily whenever possible , while still having the opportunity to run regional freight and make good money. Most weeks, you'll be home every day. Depending on the freight and where you live, you may occasionally spend a night or two on the road when it makes sense for the run. $1,500–$1,600 PER WEEK Typical weekly pay: $1,500–$1,600 Paid weekly by ACH direct deposit 25% of truck revenue Home daily on most runs Occasionally gone a few nights per week depending on the run Regional freight Family-owned company Newer equipment Independent work environment We aren't a mega-carrier, and we don't want to run our company like one. Our drivers are professional drivers. We trust them to do their jobs, communicate with our team, take care of their equipment, and operate independently. In return, we work hard to keep you moving, get you home, and treat you with the respect you deserve. HOME DAILY — WITH FLEXIBILITY This isn't a traditional OTR job. Our goal is to keep you home daily whenever the freight and your location allow it. Some runs may require you to stay out one or two nights , but we aren't looking for someone who wants to live in a truck all week. Depending on the week, your schedule, and the freight available, you may have the opportunity to choose longer runs when you want them. We understand that your family matters. WHAT YOU'LL BE HAULING Approximately 90% of our belt-trailer freight is livestock feed . Most of our work is plant-to-farm , delivering feed to farmers who depend on us to keep their livestock fed. You may also occasionally haul: Landscaping materials Organic fertilizer Other bulk agricultural products Our customers are primarily farmers, and many are customers we have worked with for years. You will get to know many of the same customers and delivery locations. WHERE YOU'LL RUN This is regional work within approximately a 400-mile radius of our operation. Our drivers commonly run throughout: Missouri • Arkansas • Tennessee • Mississippi • Indiana • Illinois • Wisconsin • Iowa • Minnesota • South Dakota • Kansas • Oklahoma The exact amount of overnight travel will depend on the freight and where you live. NEWER EQUIPMENT Our equipment is 5 years old or newer , including: Freightliner Cascadia's Peterbilt 579s 84-cubic-yard Western belt trailers Hydraulic belt trailers Automatic transmissions Sleeper trucks Air conditioning Large sleepers with plenty of storage Some trucks equipped with refrigerators, TVs, APUs and inverters Trucks are assigned to drivers, and drivers are allowed to take their trucks home. WHAT WE EXPECT As a TLP driver, you will: Safely operate a Class 8 tractor and belt trailer Pick up bulk agricultural products Deliver livestock feed and bulk materials Operate hydraulic belt-trailer systems Load and unload bulk products Operate trailer tarps Clean the inside of the trailer after every load Inspect your truck and trailer Report maintenance problems promptly Take care of company equipment Communicate with dispatch and customers Manage your time efficiently Complete required paperwork Represent TLP professionally at every customer location THIS JOB IS A GREAT FIT IF YOU...
