Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Phoenix Area, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities across the automotive group. This position manages Title workflow with Auctions, Sales, DMV, and support functions to ensure efficient processes, consistent quality, and strong customer experiences. Key responsibilities include managing the acquisition, maintenance, and timely renewal of motor vehicle dealer licenses, state regulatory filings, and general business licensing across company locations. Typical tasks include monitoring performance metrics, optimizing resource allocation, coordinating schedules, and implementing operational policies and procedures. The Operations Manager collaborates with department leads to improve productivity, supervise staff, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with company standards and applicable state/federal regulations. The role also involves identifying process improvements, supporting budgeting and cost control efforts, and contributing to strategic planning for continued business growth. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in operations management, preferably within automotive, retail, or service-focused environments. Hands-on experience or familiarity with motor vehicle dealership licensing, regulatory compliance, and business license acquisition/renewal processes. Strong skills in process improvement, workflow optimization, and performance monitoring. Proficiency in using business software and systems (such as CRM, inventory management, scheduling tools, and basic office applications). Ability to lead, coach, and support diverse teams, with strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills. Solid organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Comfort with data analysis, reporting, and using metrics to guide decisions and measure results. Knowledge of Titles, DMV workflow, basic financial principles, budgeting, and cost control in an operational context. Effective verbal and written communication skills suitable for internal and external stakeholders. Experience managing vendor relationships and coordinating with external partners is beneficial. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Ability to work on-site in the Greater Phoenix Area with travel flexibility to support regional operations, visit dealership sites, or handle regulatory matters as needed.
