Tire Technician/Delivery Driver

Tire and Lube Technician I Cy-Fair Tire Houston, TX Full-time Tire Technician Description: As a Cy-Fair Tire Tire Technician and Delivery Driver, you will perform tire service and repair work, delivery bulk orders of tires to customers, and general service on customer vehicles (all sizes), fleet inspections, scrap tire analysis and other duties as required. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing all types of tires from passenger to large trucks. Attend meetings held by manager. Unload/Load trucks and restock new inventory Drive to customer locations Maintain tools and equipment Inspect company vehicles for maintenance needs and safety requirements Sweep floors, keep work area clean, and free from hazards Operate a forklift. Using protective safety equipment to ensure safe operation of machines and comply with all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures. Any other duties requested by management. Requirements: Must have a valid Texas Drivers License and clean driving record. Previous experience is preferred but will train the right individual. Frequent bending, twisting and lifting over 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team. Environment is very hot during summer months and cold during winter months. Must possess a mechanical aptitude. Some shift work and/or work on Saturdays may be required. Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug test.
