Job Overview Join our dynamic Tire Processing Plant team, where you will play a vital role in transforming used tires into valuable raw materials through efficient and safe manufacturing processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to sustainability and innovation. You will be responsible for operating machinery, handling materials, and ensuring production standards are met with precision and safety at the forefront. Your contributions will directly impact our commitment to environmental responsibility and manufacturing excellence. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery to transport tires and raw materials within facility. Interpret production documents, work orders, and safety protocols to maintain high-quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Conduct mechanical assembly and disassembly of tire components using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge. Perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, to load, unload, and move tires or equipment as needed. Follow strict safety standards in production areas, adhering to safety protocols and participating in safety training sessions regularly. Assist with process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and supporting lean manufacturing practices to optimize workflow. Maintain accurate records of production activities, inspections, and equipment maintenance in accordance with manufacturing management procedures. Support warehouse operations by managing inventory levels, organizing storage areas, and ensuring proper handling of materials. Experience Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly desirable, especially within tire processing or similar industries. Hands-on experience with assembly lines, mechanical assembly, or working with technical drawings is preferred. Proficiency in using measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and interpreting technical documentation is essential. Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is a plus. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and experience implementing process improvements are advantageous. Experience managing production or assembly teams will be considered an asset for supervisory roles. Warehouse experience related to inventory management or logistics supports success in this role.
