Tire and Light Duty Fleet Technician
CurbTekMobile Mechanic (Tires + Light Repairs) About CurbTek At CurbTek, we’re changing the way fleets are maintained. We provide on-site service for fleets in oilfield, construction, plumbing, HVAC, delivery, and more. Our techs handle everything from tire service and oil changes to brakes, diagnostics, and light repairs—right at the customer’s yard or job site. The Role (Clear 50/50 Split) This position is roughly 50% tire replacement work and 50% + light repair work . You’ll service light- and medium-duty trucks (primarily Ford, Ram/Dodge, and Chevy ½–1 ton units), plus tire work that includes LT and heavy-duty . What You’ll Do Tire Replacement Services Replace LT truck tires (mount & balance tires using machine) Tire patch repair Perform heavy-duty tire work (using tire bars) Inspect tires/wheels and recommend replacements when needed Work safely and efficiently in the field to minimize fleet downtime Repair Services Complete light repairs: brake pads, battery replacements, bulbs, wiper blades Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using hand tools, scan tools, and diagnostic software Maintain accurate service records and track parts/inventory on your service vehicle Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times What We’re Looking For 3+ years automotive experience (shop, dealership, or mobile) Must be able to mount & balance light truck tires Must be able to perform heavy-duty tires by hand Comfortable working independently in a mobile environment Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record ASE certifications are a plus (not required) What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Commission opportunities Health insurance stipend Company-provided service vehicle Independent work environment with strong support Growth opportunities in a fast-scaling company Serve respected fleets across NW Louisiana and East Texas Ready to Get Started?
