Job Overview As a Ticket Purchasing Associate in Boston, you’ll help guests purchase tickets and enjoy a smooth, welcoming experience. You’ll process transactions accurately, answer questions, and support safe, organized operations in a lively event setting. Duties Welcome guests and provide attentive customer service and guest services at ticket counters or sales points. Process cash transactions and payments through point-of-sale (POS) systems; handle cash and use basic math to verify totals and change. Explain ticket options, assist with purchases, and support retail sales and hospitality needs. Follow safety protocols, assist with crowd flow, and use conflict management skills to address guest concerns calmly. Support event management tasks, including setup and manual handling; perform heavy lifting and outdoor work as needed. Experience Customer service, cash handling, POS systems, basic math, and clear communication are useful for this role. Preferred experience includes event venues, guest services, hospitality, retail sales, food service, resorts, or theaters. Experience working with children, public speaking, and outdoor work is helpful. First aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) knowledge are valued; follow applicable safety protocols.
