Terminal Manager
Maples Trucking, Inc.Job Overview As a Terminal Manager, you’ll lead terminal operations from planning through delivery. You’ll coordinate freight, fleet, inventory, and fulfillment while guiding teams to meet service, safety, and operational goals. Pay scale is an estimate and will be evaluated with the right candidate and experience. What we are looking for Several years experience in transportation, Logistics, or fleet operations with a proven track record of leading people with positive deliverable results. A driver first mindset and strong customer instincts. Working knowledge of DOT regulations, hours of service, and compliance. Clean background required A genuine desire to grow something and the discipline to follow through. Responsibilities Lead daily transportation management, safety, and shop operations. Lead dispatch and load procurement. Developing your team through consistently coaching, honest feedback, and accountability. Driving steady revenue and fleet growth year over year. Terminal performance across safety, driver productivity, equipment compliance, and customer relationships. Supervise and develop teams.Building a culture wher drivers and customers feel respected and taken care of. Supervising, team management, and managerial communication skills, with experience in trucking including DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA standards. Background in operations management, logistics management, distribution management, fleet management, and warehouse management Proficiency with Google Workspace and relevant transportation management systems. Further responsibilities may be assigned. Job Goals: Revenue per truck per day: $800 minimum, $1000 target Driver Turnover: 50% or less Annual Tractor and Revenue Growth: 10%-20% Maintenance safety Goals will change and be assigned as needed.
