Terminal Manager - Diesel Shop & Fleet Maintenance
ELS, LLCT erminal Manager – Diesel Shop & Fleet Maintenance Location: Toledo, OH (in person) Company: ELS, LLC About the role ELS Freight is hiring a hands-on Terminal Manager to run our Toledo terminal. You will lead the shop team, own work orders and equipment uptime, and be the point person for drivers who come in with maintenance issues or breakdowns. What you'll do Supervise and schedule shop technicians. Coach, hold people accountable, and keep the team working well together. Own the work-order process from write-up to close-out, including PM schedules and parts. Manage over-the-road breakdowns: triage by phone, arrange roadside or tow, and keep drivers and dispatch informed. Oversee all tractors, trailers and shop equipment, including DOT annual inspections (49 CFR 396.19) and compliance records. Meet with drivers about maintenance concerns and get them back on the road quickly. Requirements 5+ years of heavy-duty Class 8 truck and trailer repair. 2+ years supervising technicians. Qualified to perform DOT annual inspections. Preferred Brake inspector qualification (396.25), ASE certifications, Fullbay, Motive/ELD, CDL-A, and fleet PM program experience.
