Terminal Assistant Manager BB-OIL BB-OIL is looking for a dependable, motivated, and experienced Terminal Assistant Manager to help oversee daily terminal operations and support our drivers, dispatch team, customers, and management. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can work in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively, solve problems, and ensure that operations are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards. Key Responsibilities Assist the Terminal Manager with the daily operation of the terminal. Help supervise and support drivers, dispatch, and terminal personnel. Assist with daily scheduling, dispatching, routing, and workload assignments. Monitor driver performance, attendance, safety, and compliance with company policies. Ensure customer deliveries and services are completed accurately and on schedule. Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules, service issues, and special requirements. Assist with fuel, oil, packaged product, and inventory management. Monitor fuel levels, product availability, equipment, trucks, and terminal supplies. Help ensure all required paperwork, delivery tickets, inspections, and records are completed accurately and on time. Assist with investigating and resolving customer complaints, delivery issues, vehicle issues, and operational problems. Promote and enforce safe work practices and company safety procedures. Help train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to existing employees. Assist management with employee performance issues, disciplinary matters, and documentation when needed. Ensure company vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and reported when repairs are needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional terminal. Step in and assist with operations when necessary, including helping drivers or dispatch during busy periods. Serve as a dependable point of contact for employees when the Terminal Manager is unavailable. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Step in and assist with building fuel cells Qualifications Previous experience in terminal operations, fuel/oil distribution, transportation, logistics, dispatch, or a related industry preferred. Previous supervisory or management experience preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to hold employees accountable while maintaining a professional working relationship. Must be dependable, organized, and able to work independently. Basic computer skills and ability to learn company software and systems. Ability to communicate professionally with customers, employees, vendors, and management. CDL experience or knowledge of fuel delivery operations is a plus.
