Where: Kitsilano, The Latest Scoop Warehouse When: October 9th to Sunday October 18th * No previous experience necessary. Shifts will be 8 hours. What your day will look at: · Unpack boxes and sort merchandise accordingly and efficiently. · Use a handheld scanning device to determine markdown sale pricing. · Red tag merchandise using markdown gun; ensures placement of the red sticker is properly put in place. · Help support on changing of hangers from wooden to plastic · Help organize and clean up the warehouse sales floor area according to visual standards. · Perform assigned duties as directed by the Warehouse Team Lead in a productive, accurate manner. · This role is not solely limited to the duties and responsibilities as outlined above and may change as needs required, or with the direction from the Warehouse Team Lead, and or of other H/O management. Physical Demands & Abilities: · Required the use of full body movements when physically moving stock. · Required lifting and/or move objects 10 to 40lbs · Frequently required to stand in one place for extended periods, walk around the warehouse floor area, stoop, kneel, or crouch, move up and down the ladder and use step stool. · Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively. · Works with sense of urgency · Displays attention to detail and with positive attitude · Adaptable and can quickly adjust to changing priorities · Basic understanding of safety procedures and requirements Job Type: Fixed term contract Pay: $20.00 per hour Application question(s): Shifts may start as early as 6am and end as late as 8pm.
