Temporary Warehouse Labor

Job Summary We are seeking energetic and dependable Temporary Warehouse Labor to join our team. We have recently purchased a "new to us," building that has to be cleaned out prior to moving in and starting up operations. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the warehouse is cleaned out and ready for occupancy. This is a very labor intense position. HILO/ Forklift experience is preferred. The job is expected to last approximately 40-60 business days, with an expectation of working 10 hours a day. Responsibilities Material and equipment removal from warehouse site left by former occupant. Assist with packing and loading materials left by former occupant with forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks while adhering to safety protocols. Follow proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks to prevent injuries and ensure safety compliance. Skills Skilled in operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklift trucks, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, crane operation, and heavy machinery is preferred. Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards and PPE use to maintain a safe working environment. Experience with materials handling equipment operation such as material handling carts, load/unload machinery, and heavy lifting tools. Excellent physical stamina for manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 55.0 per week Work Location: In person
