Temporary Labor Staff / Furniture Moving Crew – Easton, MD

Job Summary MacWay Estate Services is seeking dependable temporary labor workers for an upcoming estate sale and post-sale property clear-out in Easton, Maryland . This is a hands-on, physical position involving the safe movement of furniture, boxes, household goods, and other estate contents. During the estate sale, labor staff will assist customers with larger purchases, move sold furniture and merchandise from the home, help load customer vehicles, monitor outdoor merchandise, and assist with setup and breakdown as needed. Additional work may be available following the sale to assist with packing, furniture removal, donation preparation, loading, cleanout work, and clearing remaining household contents from the property . Applicants should be reliable, physically capable, careful when handling furniture and household items, and comfortable working as part of a team inside and outside a private residence. Responsibilities include: Moving and carrying furniture and heavier household items using safe lifting techniques Assisting with two-person furniture moves Loading sold items into customers’ vehicles Moving merchandise between areas of the property as directed Helping with estate-sale setup and breakdown Monitoring outdoor sale merchandise and assisting with customer flow when needed Packing, loading, and removing remaining items after the sale Assisting with donation, disposal, and property cleanout work Protecting the client’s home and belongings from damage while moving items Following MacWay staff instructions and maintaining a professional attitude around clients and customers Requirements: Reliable transportation to Easton, ability to perform repeated lifting/carrying and remain on your feet for extended periods, punctuality, and dependable attendance. Prior moving, warehouse, furniture delivery, cleanout, construction, landscaping, or similar physical-work experience is helpful but not required. Dates: Estate sale Oct. 30-Nov. 1, with additional post-sale work potentially available through approximately Nov. 9.
