Technical Support and Spare Parts Engineer

Role Overview: Support procurement and technical activities related to spare parts for North American manufacturing, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and supplier validation. Provide technical support, training, and perform analysis on critical D-products such as weld guns and paint bells. Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize inventory, sourcing, and rebuild processes, while maintaining quality standards. Key Responsibilities Assist in sourcing, quoting, shipping, billing, and supporting accounting functions for spare parts. Support technical analysis, validation, and repair of D-products, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance. Work with engineering teams to create manuals, troubleshoot issues, and support supplier and associate training. Manage spare parts inventory, coordinate replenishments, and optimize procurement strategies. Collaborate with Honda Motor for order processing and RFQ creation. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. 0-2 years of engineering or manufacturing experience, preferably with specialized D-products. Proficiency in engineering principles, SAP, Microsoft Office, and technical communication. Hands-on analysis skills, willingness to visit plants and suppliers. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with business acumen in a technical environment. Working Conditions: Flexible hours, occasional travel (<10%), and potential for overtime, weekend, or emergency support as needed.
