n of customer inquiries. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to navigate technical documentation to identify and recommend correct replacement parts.
Responsibilities
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding parts availability, pricing, and product information.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Research technical information and collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer requests.
• Interpret operator manuals, maintenance documentation, parts books, bills of material (BOMs), and other technical resources.
• Track and expedite customer orders to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Generate customer quotes and provide pricing and availability information.
• Assist customers with returns, exchanges, and substitutions.
• Monitor open orders and proactively communicate updates to customers.
• Review and manage special-order holds and exceptions.
• Support branch inventory management and stock level maintenance.
• Identify opportunities to increase parts sales through product recommendations and special-order programs.
• Assist with reporting and performance analysis related to parts delivery and customer service metrics.
Essential Skills
• Experience processing parts orders, quotes, and customer inquiries.
• Ability to interpret parts manuals, bills of material (BOMs), operator manuals, maintenance documentation, and picklists.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical understanding of industrial, agricultural, construction, or mobile equipment.
• Experience using ERP or order processing systems for order entry, tracking, and inventory management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly JDE.
• Parts sales experience within heavy equipment, municipal equipment, agricultural equipment, or manufacturing industries.
• Inventory management and stock replenishment experience.
• Data analysis and reporting related to parts performance and delivery metrics.
• Continuous improvement or process enhancement experience.
• Experience working in manufacturing, industrial equipment, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, or heavy equipment environments preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and business performance.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
• Adaptability to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and work within a warehouse environment as needed.
Work Environment
This position is located in Wausau, WI, with a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday during business hours, with occasional overtime as needed. The work setting is a combination of office and warehouse environments, with frequent interaction with customers via phone and email. It requires regular movement throughout warehouse and inventory areas, and occasional lifting and carrying of parts or materials up to 50 pounds. The environment is fast-paced, requiring responsiveness, accuracy, and strong multitasking skills.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
