What We Are Looking For

The Technical Operations Specialist is a hybrid technical and administrative support role that involves hands-on interaction with technical systems, data environments, and reporting tools while also supporting the division through metrics management, operational reporting, initiative tracking, and technical project coordination.


Requirements


Systems Administration & Support

· Administer and update technical tools and client-facing portals, ensuring system readiness and compatibility for upgrades and migrations.

· Partner with IT and development teams to optimize reporting systems and integrate new tools.

· Support leadership with special projects, operational data collection, and reporting.

· Identify and research client environments to support inquiries, targeted solution adoption and revenue opportunities.

· Perform environment checks and prerequisite reviews for projects (e.g., operating system upgrades, third-party software compatibility, disk space requirements) to ensure readiness and minimize implementation risks.


Metrics & Reporting

· Create and run daily management reporting (e.g., time sheets, operational status).

· Develop and maintain recurring metrics and reports (e.g., monthly, weekly, or daily) to monitor project completeness, progress toward goals, and overall team efficiency.

· Develop, maintain, and publish dashboards, public filters, and custom reports for leadership and team visibility.

· Produce periodic management reports as requested.

· Support monthly goal tracking for the Transformation Development Services leadership team.

· Collaborate with cross-department teams to define and track SLA performance, knowledgebase usage, and service metrics.


Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration

· Ensure clear and frequent communication across internal teams to maintain alignment on priorities and objectives.

· Work with leadership to collect, collate, and publish data in a clear, actionable format.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements and service optimization.

· Represent the division in meetings and other cross-team forums.


Initiative Support & Tracking

· Coordinate and track internal technical initiatives including server migrations, KeyKlone Implementations, OS upgrades, patching, and other transformation projects.

· Create project progress metrics and generate visualizations (e.g., burn-down charts) to track milestone completion.

· Monitor and follow up on divisional projects, risks, and dependencies, ensuring timely updates and resolutions.

· Enhance workflow and process efficiency through the effective use of Jira, Confluence, and other collaboration tools.

· Monitor key client operational milestones and escalate when necessary.


General Team Support

· Provide overall operational support to the division, helping manage priorities, track deliverables, and streamline workflows.

· Assist in removing blockers and maintaining momentum on key initiatives.

· Create, review, and update training materials, presentations, and related content (e.g., from meetings or recordings) to ensure accuracy and apply required redactions of personally identifiable information (PII).

  

Experience 

· Experience in fintech, financial services, or software development.

· Familiarity with SLA management and technical environment readiness checks.

· Proficiency with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and reporting platforms (Excel, Power BI, Tableau).

· Skilled in system administration, reporting tools, and workflow automation.


Education:

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other technology-related field or equivalent number of years of experience.
