Our mission is to deliver the fastest and most cost-efficient fulfillment possible using AI, robotics, and automation to dramatically reduce cost per package. Our first fulfillment center in Addison, Illinois is live and scaling. The facility runs on AutoStore ASRS robotics, outbound automation, and a homegrown warehouse management system built entirely in-house. As volume grows and we head into peak, we are adding hands-on floor leaders who can drive execution and keep the operation running at a high level. The Role As a Team Lead, Fulfillment, you will own one side of the building, either Inbound or Outbound, and lead a team of 3–6 associates through daily execution, peak season, and continued volume growth. You will spend most of your day on the floor, working directly with the Warehouse Manager. You will run your shift, drive throughput, and make sure your area hits its numbers every day. This role is focused on floor execution: driving the operation and everything that comes with it, from labor and backlog to quality, safety, and your team's development. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, high-volume environment and wants to grow into a Warehouse Manager position as new Cytronic sites come online. Key Responsibilities Floor Execution Own daily execution for your area to meet volume, throughput, accuracy, and on-time KPI targets Run start-of-shift huddles, track progress through the day, and adjust labor in real time to clear backlog Ensure safety, quality, and accuracy standards are upheld at all times, including PPE and OSHA compliance Escalate system, equipment, and volume issues early and work with leadership to resolve them Area Focus Inbound: Receiving, check-in, and ASN reconciliation; decant and stow into AutoStore; dock scheduling; inventory accuracy and cycle count support Outbound: Pick, pack, and ship; hitting daily order cutoffs and SLAs; carrier pickups, trailer loading, and end-of-day closeout Team Leadership Lead, coach, and hold accountable 3–6 direct associates Train new hires and seasonal/temporary labor to standard work quickly during peak Cross-train your team across inbound and outbound so labor can flex with volume Give regular performance feedback and address attendance and productivity issues directly Peak and Volume Readiness Plan and staff your area for volume surges, including overtime and temporary labor Hold accuracy and safety steady as volume spikes Partner with the other Team Lead to balance labor and keep work flowing across the building Process and Improvement Partner with the Warehouse Manager and engineering to identify bottlenecks, test solutions, and pilot new processes Maintain and update SOPs and standard work for your area Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, A3, and root cause analysis Support system optimization within our custom-built WMS and AutoStore to enhance efficiency and accuracy What You Bring Must-Haves 2–4+ years of experience in fulfillment, logistics, or manufacturing (high-volume preferred), including direct leadership of hourly associates Experience leading a team through peak season or a major volume surge Proven success hitting safety, accuracy, and throughput KPIs Floor-based leadership style with a focus on leading by example and driving results Strong communication skills, reliability, and proactive problem-solving ability Comfort operating in an evolving, high-energy startup where prioriti…
