Secure Recycling is hiring a Team Lead to oversee daily operations in our shred plant. This is a hands-on leadership role, you'll be on the floor, directing the team, coordinating material flow, and keeping production aligned with expectations. You’ll work directly with the company president to improve systems, run the shift, meet production goals, and ensure safe, efficient, accurate processing through shredding and sortation.
What You’ll Do
- Lead daily operations on the production floor
- Supervise the Assistant Team Lead and a team of forklift operators
- Keep asset flow on pace with shred line demand
- Monitor layout, asset mapping, and placement accuracy
- Adjust workflows and assign team members to maintain uptime
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and SOP compliance at all times
- Communicate clearly with leadership on progress, changes, and needs
- Work directly with the president to implement process improvements
What We Require
- 5+ years' in a production team lead or supervisory role
- 3+ years' experience with sit-down forklifts in a fast-moving production setting
- Strong understanding of material flow, time management, and process adherence
- Clear communicator and focused on outcomes
- Able to train and redirect team members in real time
- Reliable, calm under pressure, and focused on doing the right thing the first time
- Must pass background check and drug screen
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and stay active during shift
Pay & Benefits
- $26–$30/hour, based on experience
- Monday-Friday schedule. No weekends or mandatory OT
