TEAM LEAD/ASSISTANT MANAGER

Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily store operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards. Manage and motivate sales teams to achieve sales targets, enhance customer satisfaction, and foster a positive work environment. Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales opportunities. Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to build team skills and improve performance. Handle recruiting efforts including interviewing candidates, onboarding new employees, and managing payroll processes. Ensure accurate cash handling, cashiering procedures, and POS (Point of Sale) system operations for seamless transactions. Maintain operational efficiency by managing purchasing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and inventory control tasks. Support shift management duties such as scheduling staff, supervising customer service interactions, and overseeing store cleanliness and safety standards. Utilize strong managerial communication skills to coordinate with team members and resolve customer concerns promptly. Implement marketing initiatives to promote store products and services effectively within the community. Experience Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within the retail industry sales team management environment. Demonstrated ability in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new staff, and managing payroll processes. Strong background in inventory management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and stock control procedures. Experience with POS systems, cash handling protocols, cashiering operations, and basic math skills for financial transactions. Skilled in employee orientation, training & development programs with a focus on team building and leadership growth. Familiarity with operational management tasks such as budgeting, bookkeeping, purchasing, and inventory control. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Excellent communication skills combined with organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced retail setting.
