Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Team Driver, where you will play a vital role in safely transporting freight across various routes while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with fellow drivers, manage logistics cargo handling, and uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism. As a key member of our transportation team, you'll be responsible for driving tractor-trailers, for a sub contractor for FedEx., and handling hazardous materials when necessary. Your expertise in commercial truck driving and route management will help us deliver excellence to our customers every day. Start .$40 a mile and Perdiam, dedicated runs available. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, , across over-the-road (OTR) routes to FedEx hubs. Hook n drop Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery times and ensure adherence to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and cargo to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards Maintain accurate documentation for freight shipments, delivery logs, load & unload records, and incident reports Collaborate with dispatch teams to coordinate route driving plans and adapt to changing logistics demands Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, triple doubkes Strong knowledge of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules. Skilled in GPS navigation for efficient route planning across OTR routes.
