Team CDL Drivers

Overview S & K Sales is look for an established team of CDL A commercial drivers moving freight safely and reliably. As a Team CDL Driver, you’ll coordinate with your driving partner to transport cargo on over-the-road (OTR) routes, manage deliveries, and protect freight throughout each trip. Your impact: Safe, timely deliveries help customers receive the goods they need while keeping freight moving through the supply chain. Responsibilities Operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, using automatic transmissions; follow assigned route plans and GPS navigation. Coordinate driving, rest periods, inspections, and delivery schedules with your team partner. Secure, load, unload, and handle freight; use manual handling practices and follow cargo procedures for refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation assignments as applicable. Complete delivery driving, route driving, and logistics cargo handling tasks; verify shipment details and report delays, damage, or safety concerns. Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations Qualifications Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) and ability to meet applicable driving and safety requirements. Commercial truck driving, truck driving, or delivery driver experience; experience with commercial driving and OTR routes is preferred. Safe driving record and ability to operate a tractor-trailer Ability to load and unload freight and perform manual handling safely. Hazmat, refrigerated trailer, flatbed, tanker, or automobile transportation experience is preferred; knowledge of freight handling and hazardous materials regulations is an asset.
