TCG Staff - Card Game Acquisition Specialist/Buyer

Job Summary We are seeking to expand our TCG Acquisitions staff at our flagship retail location. This job consists of various tasks associated with the acquisition of trading cards for second hand sale, such as checking condition of cards, checking current market prices, paying out customers, and ensuring customer satisfaction. While this is primarily a backend position, customers are at the core of the process, and there is a customer facing aspect to the role. The ideal candidate will have some retail or other customer service experience, and has a background in and understanding of the TCG community. This is a full time position. Responsibilities Handle daily acquisitions operations, such as double checking pricing, card conditioning and paying out customers. Comply with company policies and procedures regarding acquisitions, and payments, which includes writing cheques and speaking to the owner. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment for staff and customers. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Provide a high level of customer service while exhibiting patience and understanding with our clients. Requirements 2 years experience in retail or other service jobs. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of and passion for the TCGs that we handle is essential. Must have a real attention to detail. In-depth knowledge of the Pokemon TCG is a plus, but not required.
