Tanker Driver Job DescriptionPosition Title CDL Class A Tanker Driver Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A Tanker Driver with a minimum of 2 years of tanker driving experience to safely transport and deliver liquid products to customer locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and excellent customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate and transport liquid products using tanker trailers. Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections. Ensure compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company safety regulations. Load, unload, and secure products following established procedures. Maintain accurate logs, inspection reports, and shipping documents. Monitor vehicle performance and promptly report maintenance issues. Follow assigned schedules and routes while meeting delivery deadlines. Maintain professional communication with dispatchers, customers, and team members. Perform spill prevention and emergency response procedures when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized truck and work environment. Required Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) . Minimum 2 years of verifiable tanker driving experience . Tanker Endorsement (N) required. Current DOT Medical Card. Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check. Knowledge of DOT regulations and tanker transportation requirements. Strong safety record and commitment to safe driving practices. Preferred Qualifications. Experience hauling liquid products. Experience operating in oilfield, industrial, or heavy-haul environments. Physical Requirements Ability to climb ladders and access tanker tops and platforms safely. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
