Header: Duties Safely operate tanker trucks equipped for transporting liquids, non-hazardous materials, following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking gauges, hoses, valves, and safety equipment to ensure optimal condition. Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems, adjusting plans as needed to meet schedules while maintaining safety standards. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with federal regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate deliveries, report issues, or update delivery statuses promptly. Follow all safety protocols related to non-hazardous materials handling. Header: Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on tanker operations and route driving. Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules. Skilled in truck driving with manual transmission vehicles. Proficient in GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and real-time adjustments. Ability to handle freight securely through proper load & unload procedures and manual handling techniques. Excellent driving record demonstrating safe tractor-trailer operation over long distances.
