Tank Wagon HazMat Driver
Fleet Fuels LLCOverview We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Tank Wagon HAZMAT Driver to joining our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for safely transporting commercial and industrial fuels to multiple customers across various routes. Responsibilities Make delivery of bulk petroleum products to residential/commercial customer sites in compliance with state and federal regulations and all Company operational and safety policies and procedures. Maintain truck in compliance with state and federal regulations; conduct required pre-and post-trip inspections. The work schedule is Monday - Friday on 3rd shift (Graveyard). Report all unsafe conditions to driver management and employ industry standard HAZMAT procedures. Communicate customer needs and inquires to appropriate departments for follow-up. Accurately reporting customer and delivery information. Comply wtih all applicable standards, policies, and procedurs, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area. Perform other duties as assigned. Load and unload freight with precision, adhering to logistics cargo handling procedures and truck loading/unloading protocols. Follow all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), and hazardous materials regulations to ensure compliance at all times. Utilize GPS navigation systems to follow optimized routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining safety standards. Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and incident reports as required by company policies and regulatory agencies. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving handling hazardous materials. Strong knowledge of HazMat regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety procedures related to dangerous goods transportation. Skilled in manual handling techniques necessary for load & unload operations and logistics cargo handling. Excellent driving skills with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) including endorsements for HazMat and tanker vehicles. Ability to navigate using GPS systems confidently while adhering to DOT regulations for safe driving practices. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations concerning hours of service, vehicle maintenance requirements, and safety protocols for over-the-road (OTR) driving routes.
