Job Overview Join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient handling of aviation fuel operations. The Tank Farm Operator is responsible for monitoring fuel quality, conducting inspections, maintaining accurate records, and supporting daily tank farm and hydrant system operations. This position works closely with operational personnel to maintain the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. Duties Receive jet fuel via pipeline systems and tanker trucks. Collect fuel samples and perform quality control testing and inspections in accordance with company and industry standards. Monitor and transfer fuel between storage tanks and distribution systems. Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with company policies, government regulations, and industry best practices. Monitor storage tanks, pipelines, pumps, valves, and related equipment to prevent spills, contamination, and operational disruptions. Maintain accurate records of fuel transactions, quality control activities, inspections, and maintenance. Support hydrant system operations, including serving as the designated hydrant system operator when assigned during a shift. Maintain regular, reliable attendance and report to work as scheduled to support operational requirements. Perform emergency response procedures promptly and effectively in accordance with safety protocols to mitigate risks during incidents or system failures. Participate in safety drills and ongoing training related to operations, emergency response readiness, and hazardous material handling. Assist in equipment repair, troubleshooting mechanical problems, and performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. Follow strict safety protocols including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during all outdoor work activities. Qualifications Preferred: Experience in aviation fueling, fuel operations, tank farm operations, quality control, or a related industrial environment. Required Skills & Abilities: Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to accurately complete documentation and maintain records. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as operational needs require.
