Tandem Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Tandem Dump Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tandem trucks to transport freight efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting year round opportunity to run the dump truck Responsibilities Safely operate tandem trucks for the transportation of freight over short and long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security Maintain accurate documentation for each trip, including delivery logs, freight manifests, and inspection reports Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate pickups and deliveries Perform minor automotive repairs and troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle reliability Operate heavy equipment safely when required for loading or unloading freight Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for tandem truck operation Proven experience in commercial dump truck with a clean driving record Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and safety procedures Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshooting tasks Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and documentation accuracy Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to safety Join our team as a Tandem Dump Truck Driver and drive your career forward!
