Work involves analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing systems. Provides technical support, coordination, and advice involving the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of projects/programs and/or systems with robotics. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Essential Duties: Creates new standard reports; collaborating with end users to gather report requirements and ensure proper testing and validation for robotic systems, intelligent automation platforms. Reviews and analyzes reports and performance indicators to locate code problems, and corrects errors by modifying or correcting code for system integration methodologies, APIs, and data exchange technologies. Writes and updates computer and/or server application programs using artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computer vision technologies. Writes programs and/or queries for spreadsheet or database software to create reports and import/export data. Monitors changes in hardware and software and provides current information to end users. Tests and diagnoses systems to ensure critical requirements are met. Analyzes user needs, defines the system's scope, documents requirements, and translates the user needs and requirements into functional specifications for the design of business systems. Analyzes new or existing procedures, information systems, or utility programs for efficiency and effectiveness.
