Sweeper Truck Driver

B. Blair is seeking a dependable sweeper truck driver committed to safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. We are looking for a driver, preferably with experience, who wants to work year-round and can safely operate a sweeper truck. B. Blair offers drivers the opportunity to earn quarterly professional safety bonuses. Responsibilities include: Operate a commercial sweeper truck on construction sites, roadways and paved surfaces. Keep jobsite entrances, access roads and surrounding streets clean of dirt, mud and construction debris. Travel between multiple jobsites based on scheduling needs. Perform routine equipment inspections and cleaning. Communicate maintenance needs with equipment manager. Work safely around construction equipment, active traffic and field crews. Communicate with supervisors to coordinate daily assignments. Willingness to work with construction and hauling divisions when needed. All other duties assigned Requirements include: · Valid DOT medical card, some sweeper truck experienced preferred. · Ability to work autonomously. · Effective communication and follow-through skills. · Competency in completing pre and post trip inspections and other required paperwork. · Accuracy following driving directions and utilizing GPS maps. · Good knowledge of traffic regulations and safe driving practices. · Drug screen with negative results upon offer of employment.
