SVP, Supply Chain

Job Summary As Senior Vice President of Supply Chain, you will lead At Home’s Distribution Centers, Transportation, and Logistics teams and shape the network that supports our next phase of growth. You will be accountable for the flow of product from suppliers through our DCs to stores, ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time for our customers. At Home is introducing robotics and automation across both DC locations, creating an opportunity to transform how our fulfillment operations work. You will lead this transformation while delivering reliable service today, connecting technology investments with process improvements, Team Member readiness, and measurable gains in productivity, capacity, and cost. This role calls for an executive who can set direction, build strong leaders, and stay close to execution. Working across the business, you will turn growth priorities into practical operating plans and build the capabilities that strengthen At Home’s customer experience and profitability. Scope and Responsibilities Supply Chain Strategy and Growth Develop and execute a multiyear supply chain strategy that translates company growth priorities into network capacity, capital investment, and operating plans. Partner with Merchandising, Planning, and Store Operations to align inbound flow, replenishment, and delivery with assortment plans, seasonal demand, and store needs. Evaluate network design and capacity to support store growth and evolving omnichannel needs, balancing product availability, inventory productivity, service, and cost. Lead the evolution of At Home’s supply chain operating model, including hold-and-flow replenishment, inventory positioning, and integrated store and ecommerce fulfillment. Partner across functions to evaluate network alternatives and implement capacity in stages based on demand, service requirements, and demonstrated financial returns. Automation and Transformation Lead the automation transformation at both DCs, with accountability for operational design, implementation readiness, startup, stabilization, and sustained performance. Partner with IT, engineering resources, and solution providers to integrate robotics and material handling technology with supply chain systems and workflows. Lead process documentation and redesign, establish testing and readiness standards, and maintain safe operations and dependable product flow throughout implementation. Prepare leaders and Team Members for new ways of working through training, communication, and workforce planning; track benefits against defined business outcomes. Distribution Center Operations Own performance across both DCs, establishing clear expectations for safety, service, throughput, labor productivity, inventory accuracy, and product condition. Strengthen operating standards, labor and capacity planning, maintenance readiness, and daily performance management to meet seasonal peaks and growth. Use data and direct engagement with site teams to resolve bottlenecks, address root causes, reduce damage, and improve speed to shelf. Transportation and Logistics Lead domestic and international inbound and outbound transportation and logistics, coordinating supplier shipments, port and drayage operations, and delivery to stores. Manage carrier and logistics partner relationships, contracts, and performance; optimize freight modes, routing, load utilization, and transit time to improve reliability and cost. Build contingency plans for port delays, freight volatility, capacity constraints, and other disruptions; oversee safe, compliant operations in partnership with relevant experts. Financial Performance and Continuous Improvement Own supply chain operating budgets and capital plans, partnering with Finance to prioritize investments and deliver improvements in service and profitability.
