Job Overview: The CHANEL Shipping Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily shipping and packing operations for CHANEL merchandise, ensuring product\s are prepared, packaged, and delivered according to CHANEL brand standards. The shipping supervisor oversees the entire shipping lifecycle from packing through customer receipt, ensuring a seamless luxury client experience from beginning to end. This role supervises a team of support associates, drives productivity, maintains quality standards, and ensures operational excellence while supporting a luxury customer experience. Essential Functions: Team Leadership Supervise, train, coach, and develop a team of CHANEL support associates. Create daily work assignments and monitor productivity to ensure workload completion. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence. Conduct ongoing performance discussions and provide regular feedback. Actively support daily shipping, packing, and fulfillment operations as needed. Operational Execution Oversee all packing activities for CHANEL merchandise, including gift packaging, shipping preparation, transfers, and customer orders. Ensure merchandise is packaged accurately, securely, and in accordance with CHANEL presentation standards. Monitor daily volumes and prioritize workload to meet customer and business expectations. Partner with store leadership and CHANEL management to resolve operational issues and improve processes. Manage the end-to-end shipping process from packing through customer receipt, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional service. Coordinate shipment processing and provide tracking information to selling teams to support customer communication and order visibility. Facilitate the return of merchandise, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of returned items. Quality & Compliance Maintain high standards of quality control and presentation. Conduct regular audits to ensure packing accuracy and adherence to established procedures. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and inventory controls. Support loss prevention initiatives and maintain a secure work environment. Inventory & Logistics Support Assist with merchandise handling, receiving, transfers, and inventory-related activities as needed. Monitor packing and shipping supplies and coordinate replenishment to maintain uninterrupted operations. Collaborate with vendor partners and cross-functional teams to support business needs. Qualifications and Competencies: 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in retail operations, fulfillment, stock, logistics, luxury retail, or a related environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and team leadership skills. Proficiency with inventory, fulfillment, or operational systems. Ability to lift and move merchandise in accordance with company guidelines.
