Supply Planner

To ensure optimal inventory levels and supply chain efficiency by accurately planning production to demand forecast needs and plant capabilities. The supply planner will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, minimize costs, and enhance service levels, ultimately supporting the organization’s growth and customer satisfaction goals. Accountabilities: Develop short- and long-range production plans for an assigned portfolio of SKUs to meet customer demands Minimize cost by maintaining proper inventory levels at internal and/or external manufacturing sites Identify, action, and root cause shortages to prevent OOS SKUs and reoccurrences Identify areas for continuous improvement, data visualization, and improving data accuracy Support development of new reporting tools Build working relationship with manufacturing sites and other cross functional team members Ad hoc analysis Key Metrics & Financial Targets: Weeks forward coverage of FG and Sub inventory Operational Schedule Attainment & Adherence Case fill rate Direct and Indirect COGs Own: Production planning Inventory management Data analysis and reporting Influence: Risk mitigation strategies Supply planning continuous improvement Critical Stakeholders Veto: Proposed changes that don’t align to strategy, supported by analysis & aligned with leadership Critical Stakeholders & Relationships: Cross functional partners: Network Planning, Materials Planning, Procurement, Fulfillment Planning, Finance, Operations, Demand Planning, Product Life Cycle, Tech Services External: Co-manufacturing Qualifications, Education, & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field with 3+ years of experience in supply planning or inventory management. Proficiency in planning tools (O9,SAP,Oracle, etc) and Excel Skills Needed To Be Successful: Flexibility & optimism to work in a high change environment Ability to analyze data trends and forecasts to make informed decisions Strong verbal and written communication High attention to detail, results-oriented Able to prioritize, execute multiple deliverables on-time Compensation: Compensation offered to prospective Team Members has taken internal equity into consideration and can vary depending on a positions’ location. The final agreed upon wage may vary based on the job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the individual.
