Supply Planner
Insight GlobalJob Description: We are seeking a Supply Planner to support a large-scale ERP transformation initiative while managing day-to-day inventory and replenishment activities. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring product availability by balancing inventory investment, supplier performance, and customer service objectives across a diverse portfolio of packaging products. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply planning, demand planning, or inventory planning and possess strong analytical skills with the ability to make informed inventory decisions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage inventory planning and replenishment strategies for assigned products and suppliers. Review daily replenishment recommendations and purchase requisitions to determine purchase order requirements. Balance Days Inventory on Hand (DIOH) and customer fill rate goals when making inventory decisions. Configure and maintain planning parameters, including lead times, minimum order quantities (MOQ), segmentation strategies, and replenishment settings. Monitor inventory levels to proactively prevent stockouts while minimizing excess inventory. Partner with Demand Planning, Sourcing, Operations, and suppliers to improve inventory performance and service levels. Expedite purchase orders and resolve supply issues impacting customer demand. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, supplier concerns, and order-related issues. Support Accounts Payable discrepancy resolution by reviewing quantity and pricing variances on supplier invoices. Collaborate with Operations teams regarding overage, shortage, and damaged product claims. Respond to inventory-related inquiries from internal stakeholders and maintain strong cross-functional communication. Utilize reporting and analytics to identify trends and drive proactive supply planning decisions. Support business operations during an ongoing ERP transition to Oracle. Compensation: $20/hr - $30/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
