Supply Manager & Sterile Processing Technician
OC PAin and WellnessWe are looking for an experienced Medical Supply Manager & Sterile Processing Technician to manage inventory control and purchasing procedures for a busy Ambulatory Surgery Center. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, and organizational / record-keeping skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude are qualities the ideal candidate must possess. Healthcare experience, preferred. The goal is to ensure our operations have always an adequate flow of the material they need. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Administrative Director to determine supply needs Order supplies and materials according to specifications Coordinate and supervise receiving of supplies Oversee distribution of supplies and restocking in the surgery center Oversee maintenance of Medical Equipment Control inventory levels and ensure availability of material during emergencies Keep detailed records on procurement activity, materials quantity, specifications etc. Assist in forecasting to plan future orders Enter all information in our iOS inventory system accordingly Proficient in Instrument Sterilization Requirements Proven experience as materials manager. Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems within the healthcare setting Understanding of forecasting and budgeting Proficient in MS Office Excellent organizational and communication skills A problem-solver Experience in a Healthcare professional setting is preferred, but not required.
