Supply Management Planner

You owe it to yourself to consider this great new opportunity. Pay Rate: $27.00/hour (1-year Contract) Shift: To be in the office by 7am EST (6am-2:30pm or 7am-3:30pm). Opportunity for overtime available. What’s a typical day as Supply Management Planner? You’ll be: Communicating daily with suppliers regarding delivery schedules to ensure timely material flow. Managing factory Hot Part Requests, Aged ASN’s, Goods Receipt Compliance Issues, and supplier delinquency recovery plans. Partnering with the Supply Management Specialist to build ongoing supplier relationships and monitor/improve supplier performance. Negotiating with suppliers to resolve short-term performance problems and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Resolving shipping and receiving issues to support prompt and accurate supplier payments. Gathering and analyzing data to ensure business objectives are met. Scheduling and expediting delivery of purchased materials, recommending premium logistics alternatives as needed, and serving as a key contact for logistics teams. This Job Might Be An Outstanding Fit If You Have a degree or equivalent work experience in Business/Management, Engineering/Technology, or Supply Management (required). Understand the Order Fulfillment process and have strong skills in interpersonal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution. Possess knowledge of unit processes and operations, and are proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Are able and willing to relocate domestically if needed. Preferred: Previous supply management or planning experience in a manufacturing environment, cross-functional experience in material flow/logistics/operations/supplier development, SAP knowledge, and proficiency in Tableau, PowerBI, and SharePoint.
