Our areas of expertise are in rubber molding, material development, engineering, injection molding and over molding.

WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Position Overview
The Warehouse and Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and compliance with company standards. This role leads and develops employees, supports production and inventory workflows, and maintains a safe, organized work environment in alignment with OHSA regulations and company policies.

Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 annually

Objectives                                         
▪    Oversee daily warehouse and production operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and maximum productivity.                                    
▪    Lead, motivate and develop employees to achieve outstanding results according to set targets through enhancing teamwork, effective communications, active listending and driving change.                                    
▪    Drive accountability and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and standards.                                    

Responsibilities                                        
a. Main Tasks                                        
▪    Oversee all warehouse and production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.                                    
▪    Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily warehouse functions, including receiving, storing, distributing, and maintaining inventory.                                    
▪    Monitor production schedules, adjusting workflows based on inventory levels and operational demands.                                    
▪    Ensure all warehouse processes align with company policies, procedures, and industry best practices.                                    
▪    Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports related to inventory, shipments, and overall warehouse performance.                                    
▪    Lead, motivate, and develop employees to achieve operational goals and production targets.                                    
▪    Clearly communicate job expectations, monitor performance, and provide coaching and disciplinary action as needed.                                    
▪    Conduct training sessions on job procedures, equipment operation, safety protocols, and best manufacturing practices.                                    
▪    Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.                                    
▪    Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and operation of warehouse equipment, including forklifts.                                    
▪    Conduct regular inspections and schedule routine maintenance to prevent equipment failures.                                    
▪    Assist management in setting warehouse standards and procedures, including budgeting for equipment and supplies.                                    
▪    Coordinate shifts and resource staffing to meet production demands, ensuring overtime availability as required.                                    
▪    Track employee attendance, vacation requests, and overall workforce management.                                    

General Tasks                                   
▪    Enforce compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations and company safety policies.                                    
▪    Investigate and report workplace incidents, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.                                    
▪    Identify potential hazards and take proactive steps to maintain a safe working environment.                                    

3. Qualifications/ Requirements/ Competencies                                        
▪    High school diploma required; post-secondary education in logistics or manufacturing is an asset.                                    
▪    3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, or warehousing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.                                    
▪    Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and equipment management.                                    
▪    Experience with Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations and workplace safety enforcement.                                    
▪    Proficiency in computer applications for record-keeping, reporting, and inventory tracking.
